SOYA CHUNK MACHURIAN

 

Soya is worlds richest protein food.It provides vitamin,mineral, fiber for growing children.Soak soya nuggets in warm water for at least half an hour before using them in your dish...try this Soya Manchurian in your home.

Ingredients:

 for the batter 2 cup of soya chunks, all purpose flour 5-6 tbsp, 3 tbsp of corn flour, ginger garlic paste 2 tsp, oil, salt.

for the sauce:

2 onion finely chopped, 6-7 cloves of garlic finely chopped, inch of ginger finely chopped, green chilly 3-4, coriander leaves hand full finely chopped, spring onion half cup finely chopped, tomato ketchup, corn flour 3 tsp, soya sauce 1 tsp, small capsicum finely chopped.

method:

  • cook the soya chunks as per the instruction on the packet.
  • remove excess water squeeze them and keep aside.
  • to make batter take all purpose flour in a bowl.
  • add corn starch,ginger garlic paste,salt,make a batter adding water to it.
  • dip the soya chunks in this batter and make shallow fry in oil.till they become golden colour.
  • another pan heat 2-3 tsp of oil,add chopped onion,salt,garlic,ginger,green chilly,capsicum saute well.
  • add tomato ketchup,soya sauce,and mix well.
  • add fried soya chunks mix well,garnish with coriander leaves and spring onions.

tips:

 when boiling soya chunks ,add little salt for this and cook for atleast 10 minutes.

Rava Dosa

Preparation time: 30 minutes


Serve: 3-4


 Rava dosa is healthy and crispy Indian snack. They are easy to make hence, you can easily make them at home...this dosa need not to require fermentation. It is made with rava, especially Bombay rava (semolina).rava dosa usually considered as a fast food...in this recipe onion and ginger are give yummy taste for dosa...

 Ingredients:
·        1 cup rava (semolina) 
·        half tsp cumin seed
·        curd 3-4 tsp
·        pinch of asafoetida (hing) 
·        coriander leaves
·        green chilies 2-3 (finely chopped)
·        ginger 1 inch
·        carrot half cup
·        onion 1
·        tomato half (if u required)
·        salt adjust to taste
·        ghee

Method: 
               
          In a bowl add cumin seed, onion, salt, asafoetida, coriander leaves, green chilly, ginger, curd, carrot, tomato and last add rava and water mix well.

  • Keep a batter side for 10 minutes.
  • Heat the skillet on medium flame.
  • Pour the batter with hand on the skillet.
  • After pouring batter with hand.
  • Sprinkle some ghee around dosa.
  • Cook dosa over medium heat until dosa turn golden brown,then turn the  dosa using spatula.
  • Dosa cook for about 1-3 minutes, remove it from the skillet.
  • Now crispy rava dosa is ready to serve.


                        Tips:

  • In case the batter becomes slightly thick after making some dosas, add little water and mix again.
  • Before pouring batter into skillet check the skillet is ready for making dosa.
  • Usually all dosa are pour with ladle but, i am tried this with hand, one thing is noted here, in this case batter should be thicker, otherwise cannot pour it with by hand.

CHICKEN GRAVY

                               

                       


Now a days there are so many different methods of making chicken with different taste...i am going to tell you how to make chicken gravy with coconut milk.Chicken gravy is very quick and very easy to prepare.You can use different methods and ingredients for making better taste for your gravy...chicken gravy with coconut milk add more flavour to your gravy...so try this gravy in your home you are just loving it...:)

preparing time: 45 minutes
serving: 4

 Ingredients:
chicken,ginger garlic paste, grated coconut,green chilli, turmeric 
powder,cloves,cardamom,cinnamon stick, pepper corns,tomatoes,chicken gravy powder,fennel seeds.


For marinate:
chicken pieces, ginger garlic paste, salt, water, or curd optional, turmeric powder

For seasoning:
 5-6 cloves, cinnamon stick, black pepper corns, green cardamom-5, chopped onions.

For masala:
  1 cup freshly grated coconut, coriander leaves, green chilli, and fennel seeds.(for grind).

Preparation:

  • In a pan heat oil and add cloves, cardamom,pepper corns, cinnamon saute for 5 minutes.
  • Add onions and saute till light brown.
  • Add marinated chicken pieces fry it for few more times.
  • Add gravy powder, masala and water.
  • Add salt and coriander leaves.
  • Keep the low flame and close it with lid let it cook few more minutes.
  • Serves with dosa,chapati or ghee rice.

Tips:

  • (for marinate) chicken keep it at least 1 hour.
  • ( for masala) in a pan heat oil and add fennel seeds, coriander leaves, green chilies and grated coconut saute for 5 minutes.now add these all item into mixer and grind it.Now masala ready for gravy.

VEG BIRIYANI





   

INGREDIENTS:

Basmati rice-1 Cup, onion-1, green chilli 2, ginger garlic paste -3 tsp, tomato-1, mixed vegetables-2 cup (like carrot. Green peas.potato.cauliflower…whichever u liked add it), coriander leaves, turmeric powder, red chili powder 1 tsp,biriyani masala 2-3 tsp,salt

FOR SEASONING:

Oil, whole garam masala-(cloves-5, cardamom-4, cinnamon-3inch)

PREPARATOIN:

·         Cut all vegetables and chop tomatoes.
·         Wash and soak basmati rice at least for half an hour and drain it.
·         Heat oil add whole garam masala that mentioned above (for seasoning).
·         Add onion, saute well till it turns transparent.
·         Add ginger garlic paste and saute for more minutes.
·         Add green chilies, all the vegetables, tomatoes, turmeric powder, biriyani   masala, chilly powder.
·         Add salt saute for some more time if you are cooking rice separately
·         Take deep pan and heat it, add little ghee or oil in it.
·         Add cardamom, clove, and cinnamon.saute well until it get good aroma.
·         Add 2 cups of boiling water or normal water. Add little salt.
·         Add drained rice to it. Keep the flame in low and close it with a lid, let it cook.
·         Once rice gets cooked, off the flame and open the lid after 5 minutes.
·         Now garnish your biriyani with fried onions and nuts.

TIPS:

·         If u r taking 1 cup basmati rice -2 cups water.
·         If u r cooking rice in pressure cooker add 2 cup of water for 1 cup rice and pressure cook for 3 whistles.


·         When water boiling add little salt for it which gives u good taste.
